Palm oil is an edible vegetable oil derived from the mesocarp of the fruit of oil palms. The oil is used in cooking meals, in beauty products, and as biofuel. 

This is unrefined palm oil which is raw oil that is pressed directly from the palm plant. It is reddish in color, with a distinct odor and flavor. This type is more often used in traditional cooking in West African countries such as Nigeria.

It contains vitamin E and anti oxidants amongst other nutrients.
